\n \nABOUT OUR PRESENT ER | Lisa Whelan is the Executive Director of Iowa Citizens for Community Improveme nt (Iowa CCI)\, a statewide community organizing g roup that celebrates a long and rich history of pu tting people before politics\, polluters\, and pro fits. CCI has been working closely with Interfaith Alliance of Iowa and other democracy defense orga nizations to bring Iowa into the Election Safeguar d Response Network\, a coalition of organizations at the forefront of identifying\, planning for\, a nd responding to those trying to undermine our ele ctions. Lisa has been a CCI organizer and staffer since 2002.
