 cade struggle for women's suffrage\, led by many e
 xtraordinary leaders – especially Elizabeth Cady S
 tanton\, Alice Paul\, and Carrie Chapman Catt – tr
 ansformed American democracy\, even though that hi
 story is often omitted or barely mentioned in text
 books and classrooms.</span></p>\n \n <p><span sty

 scover how these women's personal lives shaped the
 ir public leadership\, and how their courage\, str
 ategy\, and determination gave us a legacy\, remin
