Movie screening and discussion

Community event hosted by Phil & Diana Sickles

This summer Connie Ryan, Executive Director, is leading a number of community conversations around the GOD & COUNTRY documentary and the topic of Christian nationalism. Movies and discussions are free and open to the public. Seating is limited at this venue, and reservations are required.

Many Christians fear their faith is being hijacked by an extreme right wing political movement known as Christian nationalism, which is the political ideology in part that America should be defined as a Christian nation. GOD & COUNTRY takes a closer look at the implications and explores how a base of Christians has radically stoked a dangerous movement.

GOD & COUNTRY features many of the most prominent and well respected voices of Christianity, including Sister Simone Campbell, Rev. Dr. William J Barber II, Jemar Tisby, Andrew Whitehead, and more. The documentary is directed by Dan Partland and produced by Rob and Michele Reiner.
