Political attacks on the transgender and gender non-conforming community are on the rise, both in Iowa and nationally. These attacks are fueled by ignorance and misunderstanding of who these people are. Join Keenan Crow, One Iowa Director of Policy and Advocacy, to learn more about transgender and gender non-conforming Iowans and what you can do to help ensure their health and safety in the Hawkeye state.
Keenan Crow is the Director of Policy and Advocacy at One Iowa, a statewide LGBTQ advocacy organization. Keenan joined the organization after a history of political and non-profit involvement with organizations such as Cedar Valley Citizens for Undoing Racism and Planned Parenthood of the Heartland. Keenan has worked to train a diverse number of organizations and institutions around LGBTQ issues including K-16 educators, local and federal agencies, businesses, health care providers, and law enforcement agencies.
