The third branch of government — our courts — has historically been the last bastion of protecting the civil rights of our citizens. Keeping (or returning) our courts to the commitment to fairness, impartiality, and working through a non-partisan lens is critical to the health of our democracy and our state. Join us for Intersections as Rachel Paine Caufield, a national expert on the courts, shares with us the current state of the judiciary in Iowa and across the nation.
